It should pressurize the fuel system on the first turn of the key to on. From there it should hold pressure and the pump should run while cranking to keep pressure to the system. Jump the solenoid or put power directly to the starter and see if it turns over then. If so then the solenoid is bad. Or measure the voltage at the starter with the start button engaged. It's fuel injected and you can jump across the solenoid and it will turn over that way but it's not firing and I'm getting power to the solenoid when you turn the key but it won't turn over and I replaced the solenoid along with a programmable ecm that's a plug in play ecm. Took the relay off my daughter's little quad an put it on my son's same situation the little relay clicks only any suggestions what may be wrong or where to start. Cross out the relay terminals with a screw driver and see if the starter runs. If it does, you need a relay. There is a brake line with the switch attached. 2 wires on top. To test to see if the switch is working depress the brake and see if the brake lights come on. If they do this is not your problem. If it doesn't have the right volts it won't crank. Everything could work (lights, winch, etc.) But if the volts aren't high enough it won't crank, only click. Well to be totally fair, using a pressure washer is OK, as long as you keep the pressure down to about 500 to 750 psi - over 800 psi and getting within 3 inches of certain things will cause problems. If it doesn't have the right volts it won't crank. Everything could work (lights, winch, etc.) But if the volts aren't high enough it won't crank, only click.
