That can help tip your decision-making re: flying into Hilo or Kona to start. The Big Island is very diverse from rain forest to snow covered peaks to live lava flows to up country mourain towns. The amount of "Aloha" between one island & the other isn't all that easy to measure. I find many tourists are the rudest dragging their own poor outlook with them.
